Here there be monsters and here there be monster cocks for sure. Most comics indulge the wildest of fantasies in the most surreal, exciting or fantastical of worlds. In a comic book world, anything goes and anything often does. But why not just watch a real action porn video or read an erotic novel? Well, that’s one of the biggest draws of all. Porn comics combine the sense of fun and fantasy that can be seen in most comics but with a distinctly adult flavor. However, the idea that the graphic genre (be it full length novel, ‘zine or strip) is only for geeks is far from true. Okay, so there is some truth to the kind of patron who frequents the stereotyped comic book store and we’re not saying that there aren’t some guys (and gals) who could probably do with going out more who read far too many comics. Yet, as we move from adolescence into adulthood, this ‘childish’ hobby is often viewed with disdain and people who continue reading them beyond their teen years are seen as ‘nerds’. Driven by strong narratives with engaging and exciting graphics, they can be appreciated as pieces of artwork. Most kids, growing up, indulged in a love of comic books at some point or another.
